Improved Online Help for Easier Publishing
In the latest version of ePublisher, WebWorks has primarily focussed on further optimizing the output format Reverb. ePublisher 2011.3 provides a great number of enhancements which make publishing with Reverb even more comfortable.
Working with ePublisher Reverb Online Help has never been smoother and more intuitive. The navigation for the automatically generated table of contents has been considerably simplified. It is based on the traditional folder structure but can be individually adapted via CSS and modifications of graphics files.
Even with a firewall it is now possible to unrestrictedly use the Reverb search functionality with IIS Search (Microsoft Internet Information Server + Windows Search). Google Search and other network independent search engines can still be used on the client side.
The support of Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, DITA and of the Wiki formats Confluence and MoinMoin has also been significantly improved. ePublisher now also takes over cell and column widths defined in FrameMaker.
