Downloading and installing the app is free of charge. The running costs for hosting are calculated with a key in accordance with the version, number of containers and users.

For each of the following operating systems you can search the store for "SQUIDDS" or "TechCommApp“ or "TechCommToGo“. The applications are ready to be used and can be directly downloaded free of charge.

After the installation, you will find previously uploaded content in the SQUIDDS channel, and you can watch further information on PDF and video. This help is also in the SQUIDDS channel.

The TechCommApp® is an easy-to-use application to provide content about technical communication on mobile devices. The administrator can upload your content in form of containers into the TechCommCloud® and make it available in the app instantly. The content can be of different formats: HTML5, PDF, video or 3D.

With the login data to the TechCommCloud® dashboard, the administrator can manage content and define permitted users. In the private and public section, public and private content is distinguished.

With a QR code, individual documents or defined starting points (TopicAlias) for documentation can be precisely obtained, for instance at a machine.

When you are out and about without access to the internet, you can download specific content beforehand and later use them offline. Use the download arrow (cloud) at the right-hand side to start the download process, the blue progress bar indicates the duration of the download. When the download is finished, a small cross symbol instead of the cloud is shown. When accessing the internet again, the local data can be deleted (by clicking on the cross) and are updated online if there are updates.
